Event Filters - Introduction

Controling events with Event Filters

An event filter is logic that is executed between an event being raised by an IMetaProperty instance and that event being handled by the attached event handlers.

Multiple event filters may exist in an "event filter pipeline" where they are processed one after the other.

Event filters are used for such tasks as isolating any exceptions thrown by event handlers or dispatching events to a particular thread.

Custom event filters can also be written should you require more advanced filters.
